-Aspen spent a lot of time at her grandparents' onsen while growing up in the snowy mountains where she learned how to take care of the facility and its patrons. After her grandparents passed away, Aspen took over the company and has been running it ever since. She genuinely enjoys her work in this position and occasionally fantasizes of expanding the business to include a ryokan, but managing a ryokan would be too much for one chow to handle.
