Spicy Chows can also have an optional topping of chili flakes over their backs; these flakes must be the same color as real chili flakes, so they can be red, black, or purple. Many Chowlings with the spicy trait will also wear a small chili pepper charm around their necks to show off their flavor. This trait is activated by the chili flakes item.
