There’s no better way to celebrate Halloween than a HALLOWEEN PARTY! The games, the food and the ghost stories are always a hit! But nothing is more fun and exciting than Halloween Costumes and Fancy Dress! This year some chows have really Glown Up!
Task:
Draw your Chowling in a Halloween Costume, but with a twist! Not just any costume, but a costume that glows in the dark!
Alternatively, Write about your Chowling enjoying a Glow in the Dark themed Halloween Party!
If you don't currently own a Chowling, you can ask in the community discord in the #chowling-art-requests channel for permission to use another members! Alternatively you can toggle here on the site masterlist for 'open for gift art'/'open for gift writing' Chowlings or use Wish !
This prompt will open at 00:00 on October 10th (site time) and end October 17th at 00:00 (site time)!
You can submit up to two entries!
Prompt rules:
This is an art AND writing prompt, so you can choose to write or draw!
General rules:
- Keep it SFW!
- No culturally inappropriate/offensive costumes!
- Please put a good effort into your entry!
Art Rules:
- Your entry must be at least a flat coloured fullbody!
- We want to see a glowing or light up aspect to your costume! Perhaps your Chow's costume has LEDs, glow in the dark paint or they are holding glowsticks!
- You can draw your Chows in their Spirit form or Human form!
- Can be traditional or digital!
Writing Rules:
- Must be at least 300 words!
- Since you are not drawing, if you choose to write, it needs to remain relevant to the Prompt! It is required to write about your Chowling's experience in a Glow in the Dark themed Halloween party!
- You must have at least one written focus character!

For art submissions you will need a url link, there are multiple ways you can link your entry!
Some useful ways are:
- Upload your work to sta.sh if you have a DeviantArt account, copy the link and add it to your submission!
- You can send it in the community discord and copy the message link to put in your submission!
- You can upload it to your character's toyhouse, view the image from there and copy that link to pop in your submission!
For written entries, you can either:
- Write your entry on site!
- Write your entry using external softwares, as long as a link is available for mods to view your work!
